SECURITY & PRIVACY

Built for trust.
Designed for confidentiality.

Confidential information deserves deliberate protection. CaseKo's security direction puts access control, data boundaries and responsible AI practices at the heart of the platform.

OUR SECURITY DIRECTION

Protection belongs in every layer.

Good security isn't a badge on a webpage. It is how access, information and accountability are designed to work together.

♢

Data ownership

Clear principles for customer ownership, access, export and appropriate retention.

▣

Controlled access

Firm roles, matter permissions and secure authentication boundaries.

▧

Protected documents

Owner-controlled encryption workflows and careful handling of confidential files.

◷

Audit and accountability

Meaningful records of security-sensitive actions and changes.

YOUR DATA. YOUR CONTROL. YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY.

The responsibility to protect information should be visible and understandable.

We believe legal teams should know who can access their information, how it is handled and which decisions remain theirs.

“Your data belongs to you. Your matters stay protected. Your practice stays in control.”

RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES

What we want every firm to understand.

01

Access is intentional

Strong roles and separate matter controls should keep sensitive work in authorized hands.

02

AI needs boundaries

AI-generated content should be identifiable, sourced where practical and reviewed by a professional.

03

Data use should be transparent

Privacy, retention, processors and customer control belong in clear policies, not hidden assumptions.

QUESTIONS & CLARITY

Security deserves straight answers.

These describe design priorities from the enhancement brief. Specific certifications, guarantees and live controls should be confirmed before publishing production claims.

Who should be able to access a confidential matter? +

Only people explicitly authorized through the firm's roles and the matter's own access restrictions. The design should enforce this at the service layer, not just visually.

How should AI use matter information? +

AI should operate inside the current user's permissions, cite relevant source records when possible and require human review for consequential outputs.

What does data ownership mean in practice? +

Customers should retain ownership and suitable control of their information, with clear documentation on data processing, supported export, retention and deletion.

Are all proposed security controls already available? +

No. This is a design prototype using existing CaseKo concepts and the supplied enhancement brief. Actual implemented controls must be verified separately before the claims appear on a live marketing site.
